Mission Bay Yacht Club

Located on the sandy beaches of Mission Bay, the Mission Bay Yacht Club is an idyllic location for families and sailors to gather. The club has hosted Corinthian sailboat racing for over 60 years. The club also hosts several social events throughout the year. MBYC has earned two awards from the US Sailing Association, One-Design Yacht Club of the Year and Junior Program of the Year.

In 1997, MBYC hosted the Snipe World Championships. Since then, the yacht club has continued to grow. Its membership has increased to over 750 members. The club is family-friendly, and its members are incredibly hospitable. Whether you're a beginner sailor or a seasoned sailor looking for a new place to call home, the MBYC has a great place for you.

The club offers programs for juniors and families. The facilities include a swimming pool, tennis court, gym and a full service sailing center. The club has a variety of membership types, including regular membership, family membership, and a guest dock. The club also sponsors regattas and races all year long.

The marina is a full service sailing center, and provides easy access to the Pacific and San Diego Bay. Dana Landing Market & Fuel Dock is adjacent to the Mission Bay launch ramp, and offers a one-stop shop for water sports enthusiasts. The store features a large selection of marine accessories and safety equipment. In addition, the market offers a complete supply of boating supplies, fuel, and other water sports necessities.

For members and their guests, the club has a full service restaurant. The club also offers members discounts on boats slips and fuel. The clubhouse overlooks San Diego Bay and is equipped with all the necessary facilities for sailing. The marina is a wet slip marina, so there is no need to worry about the weather. The clubhouse is also available for special occasions. The clubhouse is open Friday from 5:00 to 10:00, and Saturday from 12:00 to 10:00.

During the summer, the MBYC has a popular summer camp for youth. The camp is run by a staff of 15 coaches, and includes staggered start times for the week. The summer camp typically brings in a group of 100 kids each week. The camp's unique structure allows the club to operate with fewer people, so the quality of coaching is higher. The MBYC summer camp is a great way to learn more about sailing. It's a family-friendly atmosphere, and the MBYC junior program is widely regarded as one of the best in the country.

The club is proud of its traditions, and has been named One-Design Yacht Club of the Year by the US Sailing Association. The club has hosted Corinthian sailing races for over 60 years, and has a strong tradition of producing national and world championship sailors. The club's website has received an award from the US Sailing Association, and it also has an online apparel store. If you're looking for a great place to meet other sailors, get involved, and explore the beautiful beaches of San Diego, join the Mission Bay Yacht Club.
